Bosch Platinum 4+ Spark Plugs

Has anyone had any experience with these plugs??? Do they live up to the hype given to them?

I would say, stick to the oem plugs, I had used those plugs in my s-10 and seen no increase of performance

I dont think different plugs will provide any increase in power (if that is what you were going for). With that said, I think the +4s are more hype...the +2's are just as good and quite a bit cheaper. However, if you want a good hot spark and great longevity, look into iridium plugs.

went with the 4 tip bosch and the car just didn't run right, so then went with a set of the oem ngks and the car ran smooth. i wouldn't recommend them, they were a waste of money in my opinion...

Denso Iridium maybe, but I have done several tests of the standard resistor type NGK and Denso plugs in my Turbocharged Civic. With both NGK and Denso plugs (#6 and #7 heat range) gapped at .040", I could easily extinguish the spark and cause a serious power loss at 5500rpm and above with the Denso plugs. The NGK plugs performed flawlessly. The Denso's needed to be gapped down to .033" to keep the spark strong. Whatever the cause, the Denso plugs don't seem to have the spark transmission of the equivalent NGK plugs.

Nissan built the truck with performance in mind. If something as simple as a different plug would boost performance, the Titan would come from the factory with'em.

I agree, NGK are some of the best out there. I use NGK copper plugs on my modded Z without any problems, and will put in NGKs on the Titan when it comes time to change them out.

I think iridiums are the best all around solution (hot spark and longevity), but you will pay $$ for them!
