Question Subs on stock cd player

I am looking to install an audiobahn 15 in my titan. Problem is that I want to keep stock 6CD player. Went to best buy and they said its possible to take a signal from the rear speakers, but they wouldn't tell me how. I cant really find any info on the net. I am just thinking that you have to find the wire going to the rear speakers, and cut off one end of the rca cables and splice them together. If anyone actually knows what thair doing concerning this matter shoot me a reply
