Spy Photo - Stillen Blower

Clearly Stillen is going roots (I think the oem magnuson) for the Titan in the opposite direction of nismo with their paxton/vortech type blower.

As I've said I'm not crazy about blowers in generall, and I'd prefer to build form the ground up with a higher compression "built to the hilt" package- but im fairly stuck in searching for big hp gains on this rig so Ill give in and go for this when they can ship it and Ill document the install and data as best as I can.

Given what I do I'd prefer the roots type for its instant response and enormous low end torque. According to my contact at Stillen its got a bigger throttle body and somehow stillen reprograms the ECM/ecu specifically based on weather you have headers or not intake dual exhaust etc and they come up with their "magic" formula for your custom fuel curve. Im not sure how the intend to compensate for the helix/screw blowers tendency to force the fuel to the back of the motor and starve the fronts but Im sure theyll get it right before they ship it out. (at least as right as a blower rig can get)

They will offer two pulleys a street pump gas one and a 95+ octane bruiser pulley that will add several more pounds of boost.

Not a whole lot of details, but Im on the waiting list already. Lets hope for April delivery

Just give the wiff the wood! And everything will be alright.

Beast, old pict sorry then I hadn't seen it before only the nismo pict.

I looked around and couldnt find this pict so I put it up-where is it at?
Id like to see the write up or post to get their take.

What would be the point then of not just putting the smaller diameter pulley in right away if they both run pump gas? I dont see the point of spending the cash then underboosting the blower.

To my eyes this setup is a little smaller than wht I would consider optimal (volumetrically about like a B&M 250) but probably with twin screws a bit mor efficient.

Experience tells me a blower this size will sugnificantly heat up the air if you call for more than 7-8 lbs sustained-hence detonation & a pulley selection is given and you pick -go fast/run pump gas.

Maybe you could elucidate for me?

I got my info directly from wade at stillen - maybe he's got it wrong.

The current guess is 62-500 installed w/ warranty.

Yikes, that is rather expensive. Give me about 5 years than we will be talking.
