Plus Sizing Wheels and Tires

I am planning on a set of 20" wheels from Centerline. I want to use a set of 325/50/20 tires. They are within .1" diameter of the stock tires, but are 13.3" wide. Has anybody tried a tire this wide? I know that a 305-50-20 tire will work, but it is .7" shorter than the stock 285/70/17 (4X4 off-road package). I currently have a set of 33X12.50 winter tires on the stock rims. There is still clearance room left, both front and rear, with these tires. I welcome any input.

Mine rub at 305. You will need to trim.

92tripleblack, I have the 305-50 20 Nittos and I don't have any rubbing. From what I've been told they are about a inch smaller in height than the 55s. That inch gives enough clearance so no trimming is needed.

rims

I have 305/50/20 nittos on my centerlines which are 8" wide. Depending on the width of rim will determine if you can accomodate the 325. When I checked, you needed at least a 10" wide rim.

Correct. I've looked at it and its close enough I can just bend the plastic with a heat gun and clear without trimming. But a 325 would rub like crazy.

Just to let you all know I put on 22x9.5 MB SUV Bruzer rims with 305/45 Kumho tires. There is no rubbing or clearance problems. They so make the truck. I have gotten large number of compliments on them. They were definitely worth the money.
