I have a 2004 Titan that I use for a work truck. My first mod was a lumber rack. Since then I've added a Flowmaster exhaust and an Air Hog filter. I drive about 40 miles each way to work over a two lane very busy country road. I've been very pleased with the power that I have for passing when I need to, and while my MPG isn't what I would like with $2.00+ per gallon fuel, it's getting a little better with age. I've loaded the truck with concrete or stucco and had the loader tell me that the Titan is one of the few 3/4 ton trucks that he would have felt safe putting that much weight in. Are there improvements that I'd make if I was "King for a day", of course, but in talking with guys who have bought new trucks lately, I think that the Titan is one heck of a good truck for the money. Just my two cents worth.
Correct, the Titan is indeed rated as a 1/2 ton truck.
