Flo-Pro Muffler

Again, being the FNG on this net, I've only read about other mufflers. After talking with two installers at an established independent shop, I decided to take their advice and go with a Flo-Pro 746. They gave me a guarantee that if I tried it for a few days and didn't think it was better than the OEM, they'd take it back and put my OEM back on.

After driving with my OEM muffler for 2,000 in three weeks, I'll say the following: I found the 2,000RPM drone monotonous. The new Flo-Pro is louder during acceleration, but once cruising speed is reached and maintained, it it definately a quieter muffler on my 2005 CC LE 2-wheel drive. I am also shooting the bottom of the cab and bed with undercoating, just for the possibility of getting a quieter ride.

I got the same muffler installed on my Titan. I am very happy with it. It isn't offensively loud, and has the sound that I wanted. My gas mileage got a little better too. I went to a local performance exhaust shop, which is the best shop in the area, and the owner told me that this is the muffler that he would put on a Titan if he owned one himsef. That was after I had talked to one of the techs a week before, who said the same thing. I've had it on for about 1500 miles, and I don't have any complaints with this exhaust system.
