AEM or Volant

What are the up's and downs of each system?

I just finished installing the AEM Brute force this afternoon. The hardest part about the installation was trying to keep tools from sliding off the front of the truck.
Throttle sound is much louder and meaner. Sounds tuff. Dont know if the computer has had enough time to reset the ratios yet, but on the drive home (1.5 hours) I was getting better gas mileage than I did on the way there.
Horsepower wise is also improved. I can tell a bigger difference @ passing than I can from takeoff. Not to say that takeoff isnt improved, its just harder to see any major gains there.
Doing 70 and punched it, jumped to 80 in a couple of heartbeats like it was nothing.
I dont know if the Volant improves the throttle sound or not, but the AEM is well worth the money spent.

Volant Gains

I gained around 13.75 rwhp better and 36 torque adding a Volant. I haven't heard of any independent AEM Dyno's yet so I can't comment on it's gains.

Even Better Volant Dyno Results
