Looks good....I'm not sure what Drone is....what is it?
Maybe I should just have them do the tip like that?
I guess I'll wait to see if I like it first.

Drone is a resonation of the exhaust sound inside the cab----tends to bother some people while others don't seem to mind as much.

Cool....as long as I can modify it if I do get that "drone" thing, I'll be content.

Hey Crickett,

It's been awhile since I've seen your name. I too bought the Banks in the group buy. I thought my wife was going to hate the drone but she likes how it sounds. I left the big tip on and really like the way it sounds. I took a couple of long trips up to Big Bear and the drone didn't bother me a bit. Let us know how the install goes.

Hey Phillip,

Not sure if I was clear...I love the thing and couldn't part with it. My favorite thing to do is wait until someone is standing in back of my truck then starting it up. The expression on there face is priceless...

But thanks for asking,
DJ

when i was working at Mossy i sold a 76 year old CEO on the banks just from merely starting it!!! but was truly convinced when i took him on a demo drive!!! here's the funny thing... he was one of the last customers i had before i left Mossy for a better position so i was unable to continue my follow up with him, however - one of my colleagues whom i worked with there told me he came back and had it removed a week later because it rumbled to much for him. my guess is because he had his hearing aids turned up to high anyheww, he re-lived his youth of big block v8s with the banks, then realized it was just too much for him. i wish i had known he had done that immediately because another customer jumped on the used banks instantly. damn, damn, damn!!! it says a lot to follow up with customers!!! DAMNIT!!!

Install is done.....I only took it home about 5 miles, so I didn't get to hear too much of it and test it out.....so far I like it....I'll let you know tomorrow...

thanks Crickett!! i'm 99.9% sure you'll love it and the other .1% tells me you'll want to swap with me.j/k No, but i'll tell you that you'll make every boy jealous because your titan has the banks!!! haha, wait a minute that would put me in that group... just remember if the drone persists you can just change the tip and the drone will be less pronounced. there was another titantalk member who had the banks installed and he changed the tip to a smaller gibson tip which in his words eliminated the drone at lower RPMs so there's an option... enjoy Crickett!!!

I Love It!!!

Thanks guys! You were all right.....I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

When I got my Titan, I drove it like it was a bad *** truck....looks and power....you know....like I was the best one on the road (besides other Titans!)
THEN.....I got the Banks.....Holy crow....what was this guy thinking when he said he didn't like it!?!?!

The sound is AWESOME!!!! Start off and take off are the BEST!!!

I haven't gotten any drone (whatever it is...still don't understand that even though I got an explanation.....thick headed I guess)....but....

WHAT A TRUCK......WHAT A SOUND!!!!

YIPEE!!!

Lon, you willing to pay half? i'll get it if so...
i've always wanted it but i'm still debating whether to spend the duckets on the banks or put it towards a fabtech/procomp/dr/fox lift...
