You may not like what he said, but he is correct. On my max, when I removed the restrictive Y-pipe with the pre-cats, I replaced my stock cat with a less restrictive, but better filtering main cat. Yes, I did it because I care about the environment. Maybe you care, maybe you don't, but it doesn't mean that the guy is wrong. Maybe do a little research into why they are their... I'm sure that nissan didn't toss them on because the engineers thought they looked cool.
