Just a thought...

After looking into my engine compartment for a good amount of time, I sort of noticed how the Wiper Fluid resivour blocks about half or more of my K&N filter. Wiper fluid doesn't do anythin but smear the windsheild anyway, so I was thinkin g if i just took it out and made some sort of air dam to block it off from the rest of the engine bay and route downward to the fender/bumper area and took out all that plastic paneling in the fender area or cut a hole or somthing you think it would do anything?

I think the benefits would be negligible, if any at all, and not worth the loss of your wiper fluid. There are times when you need wiper fluid, even though you might consider it unnecessary now.

You live in Texas. You know what love bugs are. You have probably driven down I-10 for an hour during love bug season. That said, why would you want to remove your reservoir?

I have to agree. It wouldn't be worth the time to do it. The K&N is able breath easer than the stock box but it's not going to get any more air that would be noticable by taking out the washer fluid.

What light Squid? I guess mine has never been low...

Have you not ever needed your fluid when following someone in the rain? Light rain/mist, they blow dirty crap all over you...
