Just went to the scales

Well, I didn't intend on getting my truck weighed today, but went to the landfill and they had to weigh me in. 2004 King Cab 4x4 LE 1/4 tank of gas+ 100lbs of old couch in the bed, + 130 lbs girlfriend, + 210 lbs of me = 5,960 lbs! Yep it's a real truck.

Thanks for sharing that. So it weighs around 5500lbs empty. It's nice to confirm I was pretty close to what I thought it weighed. I use a performance meter and need to know this. Thanks again.

My XE CC 4X4 had a curb wt of 5170 w/o me in it, and about 40lbs of tools in the cab. I believe the listed curb on mine is 5046, so with a bed liner and the tools, this seemed fairly close. I think the util beds on the se/le's adds quite a bit of weight.

I think they need to check their scales...

That number seems inflated by about 500 lbs.

Actually, I think it's really close. Nissan website shows 4x4 King Cab LE at 5,278 lbs + 100 lbs couch + 340 lbs of people + big wheels tires (100 lbs) = 5,818 lbs. I'm not sure how much my audio gear has added, but it seems to add up.
