sounds cool, but I wonder what kind of numbers it makes over just what an intake could give. Its like when people spray their intercoolers. I think the new STI's come with the spray. Or was that the Evo, can't remember.

Why stop there? Put a nitrous kit on there and get even more - you're almost there with what this kit comes with, parts-wise.

It's actually liquid CO2, but point made.

Q: How long will a 10 lb. tank last?

A: If Your CO2 Tank was properly filled and you pressed and held the push Button, you could expect 3-1/2 to minutes use of CO2.

I believe it says 3.5 minutes if you energized the solenoid contiuously until bottle emptied--this isn't how you would use it, though. They say it should be good for 5 or 6 drag runs.

Obviously, you'd have to mount it upstream of the MAF for it to read the denser air charge. The MAF should recognize the density change immediately and make appropriate adj. Also, a huge advantage is that it cools the fuel charge too, not just air charge. And, yes, it would be a pain refilling the 10lb bottle of CO2 every 5 or 6 runs, but at least CO2 is cheap. The part I wouldn't be too crazy about, is splicing the fuel rail. Like Head said, if you're willing to go this far, might as well just go nitrous and have some serious power. I wouldn't mind experimenting with just the air-side heat exchanger, though, as this would still give you a nice dense charge on a hot day w/o a lot of modding....could easily be put back to stock if you had an extra inlet tube.

it is the Evo but it sprays H20 on the intercooler to cool the air charge but Nos would be mutch more effective .
