True Flow Foam Airfilter

Anyone tried one of these? www.truflow.com They say they flow better than paper but still have as good of filtration. I am a little scared of the K&N due to the filtration. I would like a permanent airfilter that will still filter well (don't like paying $20.00 for a wix each time to replace air filter) plus it would be nice to increase airflow if these work as well as they say.

Very interesting. Of course, if Aaryn comes with the filter, I am in for sure.

I looked to see if they had one for the Titan, but couldn't find any listings. there were no model selections after selecting a manufacturer. Maybe someone needs to call them, then see about pricing and a group buy.

from all foam filters I have seen they do nto filter better as the small holes in the foam stretch and distort under the vacuum of the engine allowing the dirt to slorly work its way through the filter. also I have seen a few start to chunk away but those were the cheapies.

Where did you get yours and how much was it? I have done a search and have found a lot of suppliers of True Flow filters but have not found one for the Titan.

Was reading an article about this filter, although it was not for ait Titan I see that most of the increased HP is at or around the lower RPM not higher. They do show one for the Titan but could not find any dyno chart, the only thing related to the Titan was an article by a buyer...

Dear Randy, After having the True Flow air filter in my 2004 Nissan Titan for only 2 weeks I can say I am very pleased with it. Pulling out of the parking lot after installation I could feel the difference in acceleration immediately. I was amazed at the ease of installation and would say anyone with hands could install the system. Thanks again. Aaron Blunck Tempe, AZ

Anymore info on this greatly appreciated.

Foam and cotton both suck my arse. Neither "protects" your engine as good as paper. Why won't somoene make an intake that takes a much larger paper filter? You could make a setup that performs just as good, yet keeps the dirt out.
I won't run anything but paper anymore. I had dust get by my K&N several times while offroading..

Just ordered the AEM brute force, it's supposed to come with the new dryflow filter. Will post once I get it installed.
