volant cai ?
hello! burnt on searching. i was just curious about the skinny air tube that was connected to the factory air box. it's been just sitting aside twist tied to a random hose. i don't know what this hose is but i think it might be some kinda sensor. being that it was plugged into the original box. so i went to national performance shop and bought a tapping connector for air hoses, and drilld, and tapped on the same face as the inlet hole for the volant filter on the box. and plugged it in. unbolted battery cables and will let sit for few hours and see how it acts.
point of question is that, what did everyone with a volant do with this hose? is this hose some type of sensor. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

Is your truck a 4X4? If so, that's the vent hose to the front diffy. I just zip-tied mine to keep it in place.

damn camera is getting repaired. ok, so if you open the hood and standing in front of the stock air box. it was over on the back side, towards the bottom end and towards the fender well. it was plugged into an inlet nipple on the air box.
wishi had some kinda tech map.

I don't think it matters, but running to the airbox is a little neater.
