Here is an article out of July's
Motor Trend Truck, SUV, & Van Buyer's Guide
The addition of a "Roots-style" (screw-type) blower yielded an extra 105 hp and 155 ft-lbs of torque to the 5.4L V-8. Nice!!
The disappointment: 1/4 mile run is now..... 14.9 seconds.
That is what my Titan runs, and all I have is the Banks cat-back, Volant intake, 3" straight pipes in place of resonators, fold in big-tow mirrors, open tail gate. I don't even have to take the spare off.
The F-150 started out at 16.1, compared to Titan's 15.7 (my stock time slip posted long ago).
I am hoping that the Stillen blower will put us in the 13's, but looking at these similiar gains, I am weary.
I did like the decrease in stopping distance resulting from Roush's suspension tweaks (-27ft, 60-0mph). Very nice!
I also like that hood scoop.
