Haven't heard of any dealer able to do that yet. Even the Unichip doesn't change the speed limiter.

Even if they can, I doubt the dealer will do it. Liability issue I would think.

No. There is one company making a new ECU with different mapping. They want $800, about twice what others are paying for the same service. It is also limited in what it includes and very new. Hypertech just announced they will be offering something for Titans and Armadas in the fall. I'd wait at least until then to get something.

I've heard around 114, but haven't tested or tried it. I go that fast in my other cars.

I don't know if the dealer could change the speed limit or not. It might require an edit to the firmware and reflashing the ecu, rather than just merely a setting in the dealer's consult software. If they can flash the firmware on the ecu, and somebody with the necessary programming skills had the firmware and the interface to flash the ecu from a pc, I would assume they could make that change.

I have found similar stuff a few times. I found instructions on the net and edited the bios on one of my computers to fully enable a crippled RAID feature. I just found a hex editor & instructions on the net and re-enabled a few of the Verizon crippled features on my Motorola V710 cell phone. I previously flashed one of the DVD players in the house to region free. So if the programmers can figure how to un-cripple that stuff, I would imagine that they could remove the speed limit in the Titan, if they were so inclined.
