Nah I can't take anyone's $$.

All this does is start "forcing" me to just get the dang thing. But I can wait. Heck I waited almost a year before seriously starting to jet up my nitrous. And I also have my plans for a direct port system all set to go (for about $1000, including the cost of a second intake manifold to plumb).

Nah, last Friday at Havock's spring install he said he might be selling it due to increasing gas prices , and the fact that he has like 4 other cars.

Kinda toying with the idea of selling the Titan, it's just killing me in gas $$.
Ireally don't want to sell the truck, so another idea is to sell a couple of the bikes, and buy a Maxima for my work car..
And park the Titan in the garage, but I won't have much use for a truck if the bikes are gone(other than to yank the boat around) but I do have a older single cab F-150..
So i think I should post a dilema thread?

I know you said you didn't want people's money, but honestly it would be worth it to me just for the entertainment factor of the fastest Titan in Houston, kind of a pride thing to contribute..
Yunno since I cant race anymore, be kinda nice to live vicareslly(sp) thru someone else..
Hell I would take the donations, and make a "people who sponcered the blower plaque"

Max

Well, number 2 does not apply in Texas! Women dig trucks in Texas!

Moto Max Titan,

How many miles do you drive in a year?
I think the average miles people drive these days is around 15,000 a year.
That would be around (average gas cost in my area is around $2.00)
833gallons if you got 18mpg $1666 in gas cost
789gallons if you got 19mpg $1578 in gas cost
750gallons if you got 20mpg $1500 in gas cost

Lets say you buy something with a bit more gas milage.
600gallons if you got 25mpg $1200 in gas cost
577gallons if you got 26mpg $1154 in gas cost
556gallons if you got 27mpg $1112 in gas cost

The difference between getting 18mpg and 27mpg works out to around $550 a year, or around 45 a month. If it makes someone feel better you can think of it as $10 more a week or just over $1 more a day to drive what you enjoy or feel safer in.
