Unichip??

Whatever happened to the group buy? Does anyone even have this product? A couple of months ago there was all this talk about people wanting one and even up till today I have yet to hear anyone with it. Probably gonna be the same with the headers too! I bet the people who were saying "I'd pay $xxxx.00 plus for the headers" are the ones who are not gonna buy. Just a feeling I have!

As for me, I'm going for the headers first then the chip.

Same thing here m95. I'm going for the headers provided I see dyno proven HP/torque gains. I just bumped the "headers thread' to find out what is going on with the production. That thread looks like it was losing it's flame too.

I don't want a chip that will not remove the speed limiter.

Yeah, I'm leaning toward the Technosquare.

There is a member here who is getting one (it isn't me). Hopefully he will give us a write up or better yet, let me test it at the track since he's in Houston!

I haven't heard the name in quite some time!

What's the word on that chip?

Supposed to be a flash. Dunno. They were claiming June (this month) last I talked to them. I guess they still have a day left.

It's a reflash, but they do a whole lot more than the Unichip. What's interesting to know is the drive by wire system (hopefully technosquare makes adjustments for this like they do on the Altima and 350Z) is programmed to close by as much as 20% when you get close to the rev limiter. I always wondered why power just drops off quickly after 5k rpm. Maybe it's because of this.

Last I heard is a release date around August.

There sites says they are looking for an ECU for a Titan for development. Does anyone know if they are still looking for one or if they have started development?

They do a lousy job of updating info on their site. They've had their test Titan for quite some time now.

I'm waiting for the Hypertech, myself, depending on what else may hit the market with similar capabilities before then.

It sucks being the "red-headed step children" when it comes to performance mods for the Titan. (No offense meant towards any real red-headed step-children out there!)
