I remember back then that a couple of those K cars had turbo 4 cylinder engines that were a tuners dream. Off the lot they were dogs, but in the right hands they could be quick. There is a video of an old dodge caravan that had the turbo 4 in it running pretty quick. Here is the link

They also built a turbo Omni!!
A friend of mine had one he hopped up. It was crazy fast, it ran in the mid 10's in the 1/4. Talk about catching the 5.0 and z guys off guard!
He was racing a 70 big block nova, he smokes the guy pretty good.The guy then tries to run him off the road, he said he was cheating!? LOL
