Alternative fuel

For you guys lucky enough to own a 2005 Titan I fell upon a site mentioning a cheaper fuel for those of you in the midwest. The site is www.e85fuel.com

Why is it just for '05 Titans? There is nothing different from '04s other than a sticker.

I think this is for the FFV(Flexible Fuel Vehicles) models only...It is a option although I havent seen one of these models at a dealership, I saw it while doing research on some car sites.

No, my sticker says it will use ethanol 85 and I have a normal '05 however the MPG goes down. Maybe the '04 doesn't have settings in the ECU for using e85 or it just isn't updated like sites on the net having an exhaust for '04 but not for '05.

I check the e85 site: http://www.e85fuel.com/database/loca...e=CACalifornia

There is only one location to get e85 in all of California, which is San Diego!!

No point for the (Los) Angelinos considering e85. You guys on MidWest are lucky to have an option.

I rechecked my vehicle. I didn't order a FFV but my vin having a B in the fourth digit means it is a FFV. I guess I can try and find one of those ethanol stations and see how it goes.
