is there anyone running nitro, sc, turbo, or the stillin plug n play that have great results?
how much is the weight factor from 4x4 vs 2x4 and time results?
thanks
best advice I can give anyone about drag racing especially for 1st timers is ignore the guy in the other lane - keep an eye on the water box offocial and the christmas tree and thats it ...and when you stage up - dont double bulb a guy right off the bat unless you know him personally- its just unsportsman like in a way.
Another MAJOR thing is keep radial/street tires out of the waterbox - your doing nothing more than dragging water up to the starting line for the people behind you and the end result can be pretty dangerous - i could go on and on ive been in the 1320 game for 12 years in national competition...if anyone has questions about suspension set ups on a truck PM me - I used to run a 94 S10 with a 331SBC that would go 10.80's and go wheels up for the first 70 feet or so - lots of fun I miss doing it

I'm new to Drag Racing, been a few times. What is "double bulbing"?
Can't avoid the water at our track, everybody has to go through it.
Got my NHRA Rule Book today from Summit. great reading!

There are 2 staging bulbs on the top of the tree. One is pre-stage and the other is stage. It is common courtesy to let your opponent get into the pre-stage beam before you fully stage.
My truck is dame fast for bring on 35's I have an intake, exhaust and 2* t-advance and i can beat a 5.3 chevy no problem and a hemi.... This is all done on the street so i can so you my times and last time i went to go run a 1/4 mi. they were letting trucks in only cars so i dont have any time slips but i will try to get some
dry hope street tires to get dirt off. street radials work best between 22-26psi. unlike slicks or drag radials that like 8-14psi.
