Wink Intake and Exhaust hp gains

Unfortunately, your "logitcal conjecture" is completely illogical. There is a parasitic loss when you STACK hp together. If you add 7 hp from an intake and 12 hp from and exhaust, the dyno results will more likely yield 15 hp. Horespower can't be stacked together. As long as I can remember people have been exaggerating horsepower gains. 9 out of 10 times, people are generally disappointed when they get the chance to Dyno their rides. Additionally, you may not feel the trucks true potential immediately because the computer needs to adapt it's fuel map so within a week or so of driving you will feel more power. Hope this clears things up a bit...

Well, like all I am doing my homework here. From speaking to someone at Stillen he liked the Volant for the reasons: enclosed filter, nonheat conducting material, true CAI and the option of having ram air which will give more air = more h.p. and cooler air. So, my vote is for the Volant. Now I am trying to find the best price. SKG Motorsports quoted me $275 without the ram air. Anyone know of a better price?

That's why I have an AEM w/dryflow on order at Stillen. Hopefully, I'll be picking it up this week. The issues that I have heard from others with the oil damaging their MAFS is scary to me. I think the lowest price I've seen for a new MAFS for this truck is around $400.
