Hasn't NIssan said that Nisom parts will not void the warrranty. I know the whole, "The dealer must prove the aftermarket part caused the problem", line, but isn't Nismo "approved" by Nissan...just curious.

OK, I have to throw in my 2 cents here guys and gals....... In the past every Nismo intake I have seen has been nothing more than an AEM intake kit painted black. By the looks of this one it is the same situation. I don't feel they are worth the extra coin to be honest. But hey, options are good. I have found that Nismo makes and R&D's there own products for the Japanese spec cars but the US spec cars get nothing more than relabeled products. The only real advantage I could see to buying a Nismo product would be for warranty purpose. For example, the Nismo S/C is just a Vortex, the Nismo Titan wheels are just the Enkei RT-6 like V and myself have. Just an FYI. Not saying there is anything wrong with it or not to buy it, Just saying it isn't anything extra special.

I didn't notice the 91 octane, but I'll be sure to see it now.
But does anyone know the answer to my question-see above!!!
Also, what kind of increase in HP are people seeing with other CAI's?

Hey buzz you are correct. I originaaly had heard that AEM was going to be making this for Nissan, just painting it a different color and adjusting the price.

There are 2 types of Nismo parts, S-Tune (street) and R-Tune (race). The S-Tune is covered under the Nissan factory warranty, but the R-Tune products are for Racing only and are not covered under any of Nissan's warranty's. But, they still have to prove that the part caused the issue!! For you guys i will sell it for $250.00 and make it Next month's special, but you can order now if you want!
