Any Flow 40 series audio clips??

My 50 series is just not loud enough. But I have heard that the 40's on the Titan can sound a little "raspy" or "tin-cannish" . I definately want louder though. The 40 series muffler is alot smaller than the 50 series I think (dont know if that matters)

Anyone have GLASSPACKS??? I have been thinking of going this route as well. Any glasspack clips???

just search for banks exhaust clip, i'm sure the banks is a glasspack muffler! i love my 50 SUV series muffler!! its plenty loud for me!! maybe what you should try getting is a tip with around a 4" to 5" outlet. i've read many that have had the banks complain it was too loud only to switch out the tip to a 3" to 3.5" outlet tip. the tip that comes with the banks is a 5" outlet and apparently exacerbates the exhaust note like a loudspeaker and reducing the tip size quieted the banks. soooo, perhaps you may want to try putting on the biggest tip you can find and see if that makes a difference!

I also have the 50 SUV series single in dual out. It doesn't sound much louder than stock to me anyway. More like "stock in stereo". I have two 3.5x18 inch tips.

are you sure you're not going deaf, cause the 50 SUV is definitely louder than my stock and i've even got a drone to prove it. perhaps you should have gone with the 50 series rather than the 50 SUV. all my friends, father in law and co-workers all have said its louder!!

No, you are right. It IS louder. But what I said was that (to me) it is not MUCH louder than stock. I remember the day I had it installed I thought "wow" .....this thing is loud....I hope my wife doesn't complain. But now it doesn't seem to loud at all. Possibly the muffler broke in a little and the sound mellowed a bit?? I doubt it. I am probably just so used to it by now that it doesn't seem loud anymore.

I STILL WANT LOUDER THOUGH!! GLASSPACKS ANYONE??

HOW 'BOUT SOME 40 SOUND CLIPS!!!!?????!!!!!

I've got the 50 series SI/DO also. Not the SUV. Much louder IMO. I have the exhaust exiting behind the rear wheels with SS ractive tips. Sounds amazing to me. Can't wait to get more miles on it so I can hear it at WOT. Seems to have gotten a bit louder though. Definitely not quieter.

Just do a true dual set up with chambered Sweet Thunder mufflers. They are stainless 2.5" inner diameter and come in several lengths to allow for some loudness control. Extraordinarily deep and very loud. No drone or rasp. Just a thunder. I'm planning on doing it, because it shouldn't be that hard for a muffler shop to fab it up with an X pipe and a set of tips... should be less than most cat backs even with the custom fabrication.

Also, it'll increse low end grunt by a noticeable amount while still allowing the Endurance to breathe above 5k rpm.

Thats basically what I did but with magnaflow mufflers instead. A lot less money and works and sounds great.

here's my fellow titaneer DrivingInTheMedian's dual flowmaster 40 series:

http://media.putfile.com/flow147
http://media.putfile.com/flow235

sound is bit shoddy, but imagine the sound cleaner at ear piercing decibels and you'll know how loud his is running!!

here's what they look like under the belly of the Titan!!

Really? Did you go with the Bullets or the mufflers? The Bullets are LOUD but don't have much tone to them.

The Sweet Thunders run about $88 a pop, so they aren't super expensive, but are more than the Magnaflows. Just as loud as the Bullets, but with more tone, and more roar in the upper RPMs.
