Zoomer Install

Just received my Zoomer system. All in one piece and no dents.

First observations:

1. Packaged very well
2. System seems very heavy duty and well put together
3. No instructions came with the system, only four pics of the installed system

Question for anybody, and or Zoomer, who has installed a cat back system. Do you use a gasket(s) between the Y pipe and the truck exhaust? Thanks.

you can USE the factory gaskets thats what i did. should be very easy to install. good luck!

Will Midas or Pep Boys do this?

By the way, other than a torch, can you use a saw-all to cut and remove the stock exhaust?

Go ahead and use the stock gaskets at the flanges and you don't need a saw to remove the old system, it all un-bolts at the front flanges and at a flange after the muffler. The front hanger is the only one that needs to be removed prior to installation. The center hanger and the rear hanger can stay bolted up. After the front flange bolts, the flange behind the muffler and the front hanger bracket are removed the whole thing just comes out. It's very easy you'll see. Midas can handle this no problem.

I just need someone to weld it in. I'll call a couple of places to see if they will weld it and how much.

Ron, what torque settings do you recommend for the flanges and clamps.
