Anyone dyno to figure AEM intake gain?

I'm wondering if it'd be similar in output and more importantly curve than anything else. Thanks guys. I'm hoping it'll have gain through out the powerband over stock.

If you READ the title it says perfectly CLEAR DYNO GAINS...

I didn't ask for projected peak because that is simply not what I want. Not sure if your trying to be a smart as$ or not, but it sure is comming off like it. If you read page two you'll see I posted your 4" RAM intake thread so obviously I read there.

I'm intrested in seeing the power and torque curves not some AEM projected peak gain...

I asked because I ran a search and came up with no dyno results for the AEM which is what I'm considering. I'm very happy you have a nice 4" RAM intake and saved a few hundred. But being here for a year BEFORE I had a Titan, again obviously I READ.

Also I've been on various other forums for 5+ years so I do know a little that I may get flamed for ownage but I was here for a year like I said. I just recently started posting more often...

relax.

maybe he was trying to help by using the search function for you. unfortunately he did not find what you were looking for.

IMO, you will find similar gains with any of the intakes out there.

I talked to the guys that make the Fujita intake and they ran a dyno of an AEM so they could compare their intake to the market. The HP gains were similar around 9-11 HP he said they faired better on the torque than the AEM. Ill try to find out the specs that he told me I wrote em down somewhere around here.

My truck was used to test the Fujita intake. I have some pics posted on another thread somewhere along with the dyno.

sweet, thanks Whistler.

sc186, he was yelling and posted a newb read grimlin. I didn't put a kick sign on my back. Don't tell me to relax. Again read entire original post. I just asked politely to see graphs, don't have them, don't post. Simple, never said hey everyone say something smart azz to turn my newest thread into a flame war! Did I? Plainly requests actual dyno graphs for viewing of entire powerband. And all intakes will add 40ft/lbs torque like the one guy with the dyno? Didn't think so, so sit back and relax. Just like it says in the post guys please don't start something.

Relax lmao. I'm not hot yet. But comments like that, I'd get there. What just because he's a rocket scientist he can attempt to be rude to someone he's never met or misunderstood something right in front of his face yelling READ when apparently HE didn't?

I seriously doubt anybody wants a piece, we'll just say won't be in their best intrest, THAT is what I do when I get hot. So I don't think I need to relax just yet as I'm not to that point...yet. Glad its just a computer though and I don't have to see you, I do keep my sawed off 12awg on me and loaded with slugs. Have you seen what a 12awg will do within 50yards or LESS? I'm just saying he shouldn't be so quick to yell. I WILL NOT tolerate that period. I don't care if someone is 10yards from me and they have a 3030. Don't start nothing there won't be nothing. I'm waiting for someone to try that in my face . Hope none of you have relatives here that aren't very nice... I don't go around starting trouble but like I said don't go around yelling at me where obviously you don't know what your talking about.

I read the entire thread. All two posts.

But if coming here helps inflate your ego then more power to ya.

Here is my personal fav.:

"I seriously doubt anybody wants a piece, we'll just say won't be in their best intrest, THAT is what I do when I get hot. So I don't think I need to relax just yet as I'm not to that point...yet. So what you are implying is that you are number one and will kill me for telling you to relax because of your inability to conduct yourself as an adult? Remember that there is always a bigger badass than yourself. I rarely show up here because of all the crap lately. I saw a new thread in which you posted a question, which was responded to in an appropriate manner in my opinion. Maybe you are taking all this out of context. We are here for the same thing afterall.

Too think that I thought of you as a quality poster previous to this.

even on clubtitan the searches I do come up with threads I've allready searched for lol. I guess I wore out my search more than I originally let on. I've been looking into it for a good couple months. So its now the Volant or be nice to Thrust so I can make a home made type based on his aeronautical know how . (see, not mad) :P

But yeah, Titan is a new beast, not too many dyno's of just intakes. I guess I'll have to dyno for myself. Someone needs to come out with adjustable cam gears so we will know how far nissan advances/retards them off the assembly line I'm sure there are gains to be had there throughout the powerband through *dyno-tuning* . More specific punctuality. :claps hands wildly:

lol, topic closed due to flamage http://www.**************/postt1078.html JT I know your on this board. Great job on the TB spacer.

wierd how some people didn't hear/read the 1st run had a dip in high rpm power due to engine heat.

like gr8titan said same gas should've been used similar engine temps would've been nice. Also he said we're not unlimited resource scientists great calls also.

definetly want to try one with my intake when I decide which one I want. thinkin still AEM with dryflow or nismo with AEM dry filter lol.

< = lazy, I know.

edit: guess I need to edit my html settings... brb

Dood seriously how small can it be that you gotta compensate that hard on a message board. Chillax...on the upside... best laugh I've had in a while.

Is it just me or has there been a lot of hot headed posts lately?

1st off, I didn't say I would kill you over telling me to relax. I'm just stating its not very funny to yell at me. Giving some slight examples. I won't mention the people I've caused to crash or ran off the road because their stupid driving... I didn't just run up on someone's grandma and push her off the road. She cut me off and drove slow. I like to consider it retaliation or violent protesting.

2nd, I asked for dyno's for the AEM! ACTUAL dyno's! Thats all. Not someone's opinion, I was getting irritated from him shouting at me to LOOK and READ both of which had done previously and NOTHING on any info I wanted was anywhere I could easily find. Even on other boards using the majic search button. I'll include smileys so you realize I'm not all harsh azzhole, only 3/4.

I stated what I did so idiots who want to start something think very carefully. BTW, bigger badasses lol, I have quite a few big homies that don't charge me to pull disappearing acts . Also I never said I was number one. Just saying I'm not someone to piss off. Very simple and to the point, get it?

I am actually pretty mellow most of the time. Some of my best friends havn't seen me loose it much. I don't like getting pushed in any way shape or form... NO, I wasn't hugged enough as a child as a matter of fact I HATE MY MOM!!! :P j/k. lol

IQ9 - yes, it was about dyno's for just intakes, until peoples opinions got in the way of precise scientific measurements I couldn't attain. :scratches head: pretty sure what I originally asked for was a dyno of an AEM intake, not to be yelled at, at least I think so???

YES, it was out of context to be straight forward, NO noone else had anything stupid to say after it. So I guess it's getting back on track. , just want actual info not smart *** comments by someone who just got set back by realizing I read what he posted previously and then some. So his entire post was entirely irrelevant. I make mistakes all the time, I can apologize if *I* feel I was at fault and owe it. If I do something at work or piss off one of my buddies; I 1st use logic to reason it out in my mind, then, I react to what I think is a reasonable degree. My opinion may vary from yours but we're all entiled to one.

adavis, I was seriously offended by being shouted at on something I should've dismissed which I didn't. He should realize his post was exactly what I needed after working 12hours a day for a while and could've been deleted much before I quoted him. But after his side kick jumped in I'm quick to justify my words in my *reasonable* mindframe.

um, its about this <-----> big I suppose. small enough to stick in your tailpipe I guess someone like you could say. But since I'm not like you, I'll say <-----> this big.
