If you're concerned with mileage, I don't think you'd want to add a supercharger. Not only is your mileage going to go down, but now you'll be paying for premium.

I agree, any forced induction kit will make your fuel milage drop more than likely. I'm sorry it took so long to finally get the graphs from Stillen, but they do look good! I was down there today and I saw their new project that they are finalizing, the QX56 supercharger, which is the same as these kits, but they were tuning it for the 06 model i beleive (something to do with the ECU on the QX for 06??? )

BUt i was able to look at a partially installed kit, and the install looks reletively easy. The way the additional injectors attach etc... is really clean, and subtle, I think they really did a great job with this kit.

We are still waiting on the final word on when we can pick these up, they have a delay due to something with the packaging or instruction manual, but the kits are there ready to go

Polished ones will be available shortly as well. The warranty i think is $250 or $260, which is a great buy considering that they will take care of the motor and kit...
Stillen is really backing these kits up, and the nubmers are totally impressive especially for those who have exhaust and intake

There were about 5 or 6 Titans down at Stillen today (I think all were employee or shop trucks), that had the blower kit on them. One of their trucks has some pretty wicked graphics now too, they're really doing the Titans up right IMO

I reaaaalllllllyyyyyy want one!!! It's so tempting to break out the plastic and charge it!

That would not be fiscally responsible though. Darn maturity continues to get in the way!!!

The owner of the local Nissan Performance garage said he's putting one of these on his Titan as soon as they are available. I figure I'll start by begging him for a ride, then see if it can hang with the 300 ZX Twin Turbo

There ia s local guy in Tucson who makes custom turbo setups. He did one on my buddy's Chevy 396 that is amazing. I spoke to him about doing my f-150 when I had it, he said it'd cost about $4000 installed. I think the turbo setup could be done on the Titan for not too much money, but I'm not going to be the guinea pig...

Quick question, does the install need to be done by a Stillen approved performance shop/dealer to keep the warranty?(that question make any sense?) I really want to get this SC but have no idea of any good performance shops on my island ( Big Island of Hawaii, Hawaii) that could do the install, I don't know how hard the install would be and if I'm up to the mechanical aptitude. What should the installed price be? Anyway don't forget that you got customers in Hawaii too okay lol.

the stillen charger comes with detailed instructions and says 8-12 hour install time. i would think if you have some mechanical skills you could install this! to keep the warranty intact you must pay the additional 200 dollars and it must be installed by an ase certified technician to be valid.

I may have mislead you in my statement. More simply put, for $6k you could have a single turbo setup...dyno tuned...and make more hp and tq. Would there be a warranty? Absolutely not. Would this be a mass produced item? Doubtfull. Could I do this personally? Maybe, but I wouldn't want to take the time nor could I do without my truck for the amout of time it would take.

I would just rather spend that kind of money on something that would net more gains and be more efficient. The warranty would be nice! But if I plan to spend that much on a performance add on, I'm not going to be too concerned about a warranty. And as far as comments like mine being better left unsaid, I strongly disagree, it was just my opinion, just not the same as yours. Again, just to clear things, I am not saying one route is better than the other. Just IMO if I had $6k to spend on a mod as such, it would be a turbo rather than a S/C.

For Hawaii, are there any Nissan dealerships that would attempt this? Looking at the install when I was down at Stillen, it's not too hard, a dealership could by all meand easily do it, It's just a matter of if they WANT to or not. Where is Nissan on the big island anyway? Hilo, Kona?
I would try asking them to see for sure, that's your best bet. I do know there are other shops out there that do high performance work, but i'm not sure of their names. It might be a search, but I'm pretty sure you can find a good reputable installer even on the big island....

Kona Auto Center about 6 miles from my house in Kona. It's the main Dodge/Nissan dealer in Kona. They can probably do it,but just a few more questions. The SC would most likely void my warranty right, so would it cover all the parts that are voided or just the engine? Example: If it voids rear end coverage under warranty- say I blow my rear end and it's coverage is voided, would the SC warranty cover that?

I think the Stillen warranty only covers the motor.

Boy the picture on Stillen's website gets me excited. But I can't afford the $6k pricetag. Hopefully someone in PA will get one and let me drive it.....

I'll just wait for turbo. If the Tundra can get one,the Titan will too get one. It's just a matter of time and requests.I know that with the turbo it'll spool up instantly as with the SC.Till then...it's all you want I want.

anyone know if the tranny or the gear ratio could take all that extra power? If not, that is going to cost alot more than $6K!
