Where did you get your timing advanced? Or did you do it yourself?
The more I read, the more I am thinking about pulling out my K&N drop in and putting the stock filter back in. I am thinking about purchasing a AEM intake this weekend though...
I did it myself with the Cipher software. I went in with a group of guys to buy it and we are taking turns using it. There are also alot of guys out there that have had it done at the dealer.
I have the AFE stage 2 and I have been reading that the intake temp is about 18 dergrees above outside temp on my scangauge. Is this correct or should it be cooler?
Thanks,

It's never going to be cooler than the OAT. It is still bringing air from within the engine compartment, or the fender at best. Either will be warmer than OAT from engine heat alone, and the fender simply being heated by the sun.
P.S. Fram Boost has been added to the list and poll.

My AEM is always about 20* avg. higher than the outside temp.

Thanks!! This helps...
My dad and I were talking and we were thinking about adding a cooling line from the AC and making a new intake that would have a cooling core inside. We have figured numbers about 40*-45* with outside air at 80*.
Race car drivers use what is called a "Cool Can", basically its a coffee can filled with dry ice and it has the fuel line run throught it in a coil pattern. The concept is to cool the fuel before it hits the carb's, therefore it caused a hotter combustion.
Neat Idea for the air, let us know if you get it to work.
As a youth growing up in southern california I did my share of street racing and had several Fuel injected Corvettes that held records at the local drag strips.
Instant horsepower was the cold air intake, nothing more than a flex tube running from the intake of the injector body to the front of the grille. By making a box for dry ice around the tube it really cooled the intake air, good for more horsepower. Of course in those days there was no ECU to deal with, made getting horsepower a lot easier.
I can't believe there is much difference in the many CAI offered for the Titan today, but if any one of them has a dry ice application it may poroduce the highest HP. The problem of course is having it cooled all the time.
Air conditoned cold air may be a big HP gain.
Anyone know?
Just got home after installing the Gen. 3 Volant CAI and the throttle body spacer and the difference is very noticable all around in my truck..The install was easy, about an hour for both and i am a home builder not even close to a mechanic...You can hear a slight whistle when you give it gas but the roar of the air going in and the flowmasters make it go away and it sounds like a beast.. I LOVE IT !!!! The total cost for both was $350 out the door and worth it to me. Probably could have got it cheaper if i were to go on line and hunt for the stuff.. Got it from a local place in Nash., Tn.- The owner is a friend of mine and he threw in a SS titan license plate and chrome tow hooks for $25. Right now in Tn. the temp. is real cool for July so when it gets back up to 100 it might not be as strong. Can`t wait for cold weather to see what happens when i kick it.
