Dyno Graphs Stock vs. Hypertech w/ no WOT restriction (HP TQ TPS Voltage)

I just wanted to update you guys with what we have been doing here at Hypertech. As you can see right off the line the power gains are awsome because the WOT restriction has been removed, but like I said in earlier post while this will make your truck feel faster off the line, it's not power that you will have in every due to the fact that after a certain point there is no WOT restriction.

Anyway, please tell your tires we are sorry, and tell your tire salesman to make all comission check's payable to me.

If you already have a 62001 all you need to do is a simple internet update, and you will have this tire melting power as well.

WOW!

So do you have a 4x4 to test and do the same thing with? I'd like to see those results!

What is with the voltage drop at the 38ish mph? Does that cut back just like the WOT restriction from 0?

so let me get this straight? if i still have a hypertech from a vehicle that i used to have and the part # is 62001 - then i can download your tune and burn some rubber? if the answer is yes, then better rub out the garage and verify part #'s from my old one....

For anyone who is doubting this, I can tell you even on the Regular (87 octane) tune, you can feel the difference.....

I have to call BS on the wheel slippage.
I have seen wheel slippage on a dyno many times before and it resembles a slipping clutch or a misfire. The graphed line would be erratic and you would have dips and spikes. Plus, a Titan would not lose traction on a roller unless the abrasive surface was worn (doubtful) or the roller was wet. There is another reason of the slight loss of power in the low end.

How about a hp/trq versus rpm instead of the weird mph based graphs?

The truck we have is a 2006 RWD. Most everyone on TitanTalk reports that the WOT restriction is just on the RWD trucks.

The 38mph drop is just a repeat WOT restriction when the trans shifts to 2nd gear with the stock tuning. That extra kick on the 2nd gear shift is pretty nice.

This done with MPH because stock the WOT restriction is only there from a low MPH to a certain point. A graph ploted by RPM wouldn't really show you the whole picture.

Z-Hauler,

The person who made those charts has two dyno running 8 hours a day 5-7 days a week so I will have him explain the slippage Monday.
