Drop-in Air Filter
I have been reading a few threads here in which several people are saying that K&N air filters are no good. Is this the general consensus or is it just a matter of opinion? I have one of these filters in my titan.
Also, how would you know if dirt is getting through your filter. If you don't like K&N, what is your preference on drop-ins, Or should I go ahead and get a new intake?

I've had the K-N drop in for about 35k miles, cleaned it twice carefully following their directions and have found it to be just as problem free as the many other K-N filters I've owned. I get them because I put about 50k miles a year on whatever I happen to own and it's cheaper on me in the long run.
