I was wondering if anyone has this set up? After reading and listening for days I think this is what I am going to go with. Would appreciate any opinions.
Also anyone use synthetic? Wondering if you seen any improvement anywhere.
I have had the Volant and the Banks on for some time and I like the combination. I also run synthetic in the engine and the rear differential.
Mileage improved after the Banks, really saw no change with the Volant/synthetic.

Yeah Volant and Banks are both popular. I have K&N 77 and Banks and I love em. If I was spending the extra $$$ on the Volant intake, I'd wait for version 3 to come out so you don't have fitment/vibration issues.

No fitment/vibration issues with my version 2, version 3 has a better cover set up.

Ditto. I have the same setup and I like it. Mine didn't come with the pad that goes in between the inner fender and the box so I just stuck a small sponge in between and haven't had any problems. Buy a cleaning kit when you get the Volant - it (the cleaner) seems to take forever to get in (mine did).

IF you drive like me don't expect to get an increase in MPG after you get the kit. Sounds too damn sweet when I rev it. My MPG went way down as it caused a severe case of led foot.
