Custom mod to CAI
I'm new here and I've been reading alot about the different CAI kits. Before my Titan I drove an 98 S-10 with some mods done to it so I could eat all the tuners out there. I did have the K&N Gen II kit on it. It was plastic tube going to the cone filter. So why not try doing it to my Titan instead of paying 200-300 dollars for it. just make it my self. So I did. I am working on building a heat sheild for now. But I have already noticed a difference in the mileage, I was getting around the high 15's now I'm getting around the low 18's. So I figured I saved some money on the kit and on gas.
