I am updating the thread with finished pics of the "stealth ram air box" and the start of Stage II. It is the behind the grill air scoop into a 3" diameter opening directly into the "ram air box" for a stealth mod.

Can you post a closer up picture of that last one showing the whole install? Looks good so far, how does it run?

Here's some closer photos of the final install. I added self adhesive foam lined aluminum for added insulation. I may re-apply a smaller pattern weave of CF just like the intake cover.
Update:
Version 2 of the box for a more streamlined look that follows the radiator top support angles.

Looks like a cool project. My old neighbor added a ram air tube to his old 325, it seemed to work well.

When you are done, can you remove it and take some pictures of it out of the truck? maybe also one of it disassembled when out of the truck?
Looks good. Get some molds going and you can start production on these bad boys and maybe make some decent money off it.
Smart thinking!

The 1st version of the "Ram Air Volant" box did not sit well with my aesthetic eye. So I made a 2nd version with "bends/curves/angles" that follow the radiator top support. I think it looks a bit better. Here's the 2nd version with "no-tool" cover removal and box some insulation. The access hole edges will need to be painted black

Looks Great! How will it do with the weather? Is the hole protected?

I went thru a "no-touch" (direct perpendicular high pressure spray) carwash the other day and believe it or not, the filter was dry (could see it thru the cover). There was a couple of wet spots but just drained out to the bottom of the box right where the intake tube and the box meet.
So to answer the question, during an inclement weather, I don't think natural rainfall can provide as much "direct" high pressure water stream as the carwash. And I am not worried about the "incidental puddles" as the intake is high above the bumper.

Looks good.. but when driving fast, utilizing your new mod, can you wash the bugs off the windshield so you can see? lol
Curious to know if you got the replacement washer resivoir done.

Have not figured out yet whether to "fab" or use a generic aftermarket reservoir. Hope to get things in line before winter.
