AFE, MPG before and after

i had heard people say that cai's could help gas mileage but didn't bank on anything till i filled up today. all the driving below is a good mix of city and hwy in my 05 cc with bt/or. the gentle driving with afe was only 1/2 tank of gas although i think it was a very good representation of my normal driving. will take more tanks to really believe for sure.

very gentle driving before AFE: 13.83 mpg
fairly hard driving before AFE: 13.19 mpg
very gentle driving with AFE: 14.68 mpg
very hard driving with AFE: 12.59 mpg

anyone else tracking numbers or have a similar experience to share? i hope too get atleast one full tank before i put on the airaid tbs currently in the mail. goal with cai/tbs/ehaust was a gentle driving mpg around 15. right now i'm pretty hopeful although it is clear that hard driving can toast the numbers, maybe even more-so with mods in place... and again, this is mixed (50:50, 60:40) driving, not pure highway stuff.

I can't stay out of the pedal enough to check it! Although I have no baseline to compare it with as I never kept up with gas milage anyway...too depressing!
