Yes the Banks does growl. Just a quick suggestion. I usually turn the exhaust clamps so that the bolts are pointing to the side or even slightly upward. This helps prevent snagging highway debris (like the plastic grocery bags). I caught one on a clamp bolt and it blew back against the muff and glued itself on like shrink wrap. It took a week to completely burn it off.

I got the Banks a few weeks back, but I've got an issue...
When I'm sitting at a stop light, and my truck is at idle, in gear, I get this vibration from under the truck. It only happens when at idle, and it's only when it's in gear. So my concern was it was the rear end.
So I had my wife sit int he car with it in gear until the vibration started, then I got down beside the truck and pushed on the exhaust, and it stopped. THe next time I pushed, it changed the tone of the vibration, so I'm sure it's NOT the rear end.
But it still doesn't solve my problem...
I've gotten under the truck two times, checked to make sure nothing is rubbing/touching, and it's not-and everything is tight....any ideas anyone...??

I had that. Lay under it while it is making the noise and you can track it down. Mine was at the rear hanger. Apparently I did not have my pipes pushed together quite far enough. I got the noise only after the system heated up and expanded slightly in length. If I recall, I ended up spinning around the factory rear hanger top piece 180 degrees. The bolt holes are offset, and spinning it 180 gave me a little more space. I was not able to shove my pipes together any more after the clamps crimped them. Good luck.

I had a saw blade sound and vibration coming from rear hanger. Had it repositioned and now it's quite.....BUT NOW I want to know if you figure this one out yet?
I still have the vibration and the vibration with sound resonace in the cab at the first line of rpm gauge (500). It is also only there in "D" with brake on under idle load not "R" or "N". This is driving me crazy as I have a completely welded system. At first I thought is was exhaust. Then I started thinking the Volant was leaking after the MAF so I re-installed the stock airbox today. Well the vibration is still there however the vibration and sound has decreased some. But the rpm also increased 50-100. So now I'm really going nuts? Is it an air leak, a bad MAF, a quick fix with an ECU idle adjusment at dealer, torq converter? I'm grasping at straws but definately looks like we need help Buzz.

Too many mods to list PM me I'll tell ya.
1. Leak in the exhaust system. That loose fit vibrates.
2. The hangers are not seated either. First check the adapter plate.
3. The hangers are not seated. Loosen and retighten-make sure they are 1/8" from the end of the flange.
4. The tip is angled. Reset it.
Probably the best way to tell what it is is to measure the hangers locations before and after the exhaust heats up. That will tell you how much flex is in your system.
Let us know what you find!
