I guess for some of us the question is: How can I turn off the ABLS???

I'm going to have to do this one as well. I almost got stuck crossing the interstate median the other day to avoid a traffic jam. I eased on the gas before I hit the pavement and instead of a rooster tail with quick forward movement I got nothing. I was eeking along and about to hit the pavement where the oncommers were running hard. Good thing I timed it well or I would have been in trouble.
But if you have to mash the brake pedal to smoke the tires you're cheatin'
From the old school... a burnout is what happens when you take your foot off the brake pedal and stomp your foot to the floor on the gas...
You can power brake a yugo for pete's sake!!!
I could always powerbrake my '98 Chevy and it had POSI. Once I got it started then I took my foot off the brake. Now my brother in law's F-250 V-10 couldn't power brake. LOL What a dog that V-10 is.
Lol...bull****. You go get u a yugo and try it. A lot of cars wont powerbrake, they simply dont have the power. I would like this truck to do this without the mod as well, but hey, lets be realistic. This isnt the 60,s anymore.
Okay, but my question is this: Everytime I try to do a burnout (without touching the brakes, just by flooring it...) my slip light comes on and the brakes feel like they are being applied. Is this the ABLS that you all are talking about? If so, does this mod keep that from happening, or is there another mod to stop that? Thanks for the help.

It applies brakes to get the slipping wheel traction

And it is a buzz killer! THE biggest, and for the most part, only complaint I have for Nissan (other than having to spend $200 on a leveling kit that I shouldn't have had to buy...)

Lol.......you didnt have to buy that option on your truck. I didnt. Its not something Im concerned with, but you know they have to implement these safety features to stay with the times.
And you dont have to buy a leveling kit either. the rake looks cool and it has it reasons fo rbeing that way.
