I installed the new dry flow filter into my volant this morning. It is a tight fit but where theres a will theres a way.The filter part # is 21-2049D.The only problem is the extra 1" of length.I bought the filter from AUTO -ANYTHING.
Im sorry I dont have a digital camera.I will tell you that you will have to take your intake pipe loose in order to manipulate the filter through the hole in the air box, then put the intake pipe into the filter, then reconnect the intake pipe back onto the throttle body. Not real hard you just have to work with it. Good luck!

I dont know about a performance advantage, but you dont have to oil it.According to AEM it filters down to 1 micron.Thats enough reason for me to change it.Go to their website and check the filter out.Intresting reading.
