They work on the Armada for sure and when I talked with David at Premeir he said the Group buy was on for sure.
Not the headers, the exhaust. I still haven't seen a single person say the headers alone increased power, nor have I seen anyone say the headers added additional power to an aftermarket exhaust. If I'm in err, please show me. Every post I've read said the stock headers were just as good as the JBA, the JBA were a PITA to install, and they had no gains afterwards. They also go on to say that until someone has a good set of long tube, this probably won't change, but since there are unsolved problems with longtubes and the o2 sensors, they haven't released any yet.

JBA has a Performance Guarantee.
This means if you don't like the Performance of the header, send it back. JBA Headers make excellent gains in both HP and Torque. Dyno numbers are all over the place and vary from Vehicle to Vehicle. 23 hp and 17 ft. lbs is what JBA advertises and some customers have seen more. The bottom line is, if you are not satisfied with the power gains you receive, JBA will give a full refund. JBA = Power, Sound, Quality
Put them to the test and see what happens. I received a nice gain on the headers when I put them on. Do them without an exhaust and see what power you make.
I might, if they were easy to slap on in an hour or two. Its really a hastle to change them. I'd like to see if someone else does just headers and gets added performance, or better still, someone who has exhaust and gets more when they add headers. Thanks
Seat of the pants. I Tow About 1000 miles a month, Once exaust was done I could tell the difference. I have an area with a good size grade that I have to climb every morning and I have mapped out a spot from the start to a road sign maybe A 1/4 MILE LONG and have increased about 5 miles an hour faster with 7000 lbs behind me. Never tried seeing how fast it would go without the trailer behind me up the hill.

I can also tell you they are not easy to put in. JBA is in San Diego And quoted me 8 hours to put them in. @ 80-100 dollars an hour you do the math. I have a local guy that did my exaust and put them in. Said you have to remove motor mounts on each side jack the motor up to get them. Told me it was about the hardest truck he had ever done

I wish someone would have had a GB when I purchased mine.
The JBA's made a nice difference in HP and MPG.
Just my o2
I was looking to do to my Titan just what you have done (volant c/a intake w/ram air, JBA ceramic headers & not quite sure what exhaust to go with Volant, JBA or have one made (stainless steel). How do you like what you have done? Has it increased you mpg much to make it worth it? We all know it will increase you hp & torque and that's cool but, with gas prices we or I want better milage. Please let me know your opinion.

I would just order the exhaust listed on this Group buy. I paid as much for my custom system as you could purchase the Stainless JBA kit for. I ordered the Stainless kit through Premeir and I cannot wait to receive it. $399 for a complete stainless cat-back with y-pipe is a great deal.
With all 3 mods I have on my Truck I have gained about 2-3mpg on average. That is when I drive normaly around town..
Does anyone have any proof that the headers by themselves add more power?
Does anyone have any proof that the headers will add even more power to an aftermarket exhaust?
I know the exhaust adds power. I know if you add both, you will have more power. But I have not seen anyone say the headers were responsible for any gains yet. I have seen a bunch of people say the opposite however, that they added no power whatsoever and they thought they were a total waste of money. They also said we should wait for long tubes. My experience with vettes backs this up as shortie headers do nothing on LT1 vettes but long tubes add 20+ hp.
Sorry to be a PITA, but this is the 3rd or 4th time I've asked this and the only answers I get is "I added the headers and exhaust and got power" or JBA tested them and got more power with this exhaust. That is meaningless and proves bupkiss.

yea what he said i have heard same thing from people no noticeable gains
[quote=92TripleBlack]Does anyone have any proof that the headers by themselves add more power?
I added the headers 1st before anything and I noticed a nice difference. I do not have a dyno sheet but I picked up 1mpg and a nice seat of the pants difference. After that I installed the Volant and I lost a small amount of low end tq. now I just ordered the JBA Cat-back so we will see how the truck responds to this mod.
Maybe next I can get the Black-box I have heard about. "Tuning"
