I got a phone call today from my salesman over at Stillen, he wanted to let me know that they have a few sets of long-tube headers in for the Titan and that they will be manufacturing more next week. They will have a few sets on display this weekend at their open house event, and maybe even a couple sets ready to be taken home. Best of all these headers are made of Stainless steel and will not set off check engine lights. they will not be CARB approved since they delete the cats inside the stock manifolds and will have a stamp on them that says for "off-road use only." He said that they are taking pre-orders but they won't be shipping these out for about two weeks. I've already ordered mine.

M95roadster was at the Stillen Titan Day event today. He said the headers will be available soon for $699, and, as mentioned, no codes. O2 bungs are located in the collectors.
They are long tubers, like the Mossy's, but I'm curious on how/if they differ on length and primary tube diameter.

I am inclined to favor a product that has lots of R/D behind it. Stillen has some reputation to protect and they will not offer to sell a "half baked" product to the general market. The fact that there is no CEL error on the header install is a good starting point. My only concern is the type of SS they use for the headers. If it is T-304, it would be a great selling point. If it is 401, then an additional protective coating will be neccesary for it's longevity.
Right now, I'm keeping a close interest on this product.

after what i have seen with there super charger i dont think i would trust what they say with there headers, i iknow i wouldnt want to be the first guinea pig they dont seem to stand behind there product not good
I'm sure if you want to pay enough for a full system-you can get some custom made ones :P . I know I don't want to pay $400 for cats. I'd rather run without them and get used to putting stockies back on for safety stickers... besides dropping the front diff on 4x4's, and moving the engine around, I'm sure it isn't too bad lol.
