I have one too. I believe 6388 lbs. is way too high. That sounds like gross weight. From what I've read and what I and others have entered, 5200 lbs. is probably more accurate.

As Fin said, the 6388 is gross loaded weight. The best way to get the weight is to have the truck weighed with about a half tank of gas. That way you know for sure. There are many places to get certified weights. It cost me $5.00.

I agree. Don't go by that sticker. That's for maximum loaded weight. You should dial in the actual weight of your truck, plus you as driver, an estimate as to how much gas you will have in the tank and any cargo on board.

My Armada is heavier than the Titan pickup - about 5500-5600 lbs. empty. Add me, a little gas and just a few miscellaneous items, and I set the G-Tech for 5800 or 5900 lbs.

You do need to get within a couple hundred pounds to have accurate readings. If you have a 4x2 KC, I think the dry, empty weight is around 4900 lbs. So the advice to dial in about 5200 sounds about right for you and fuel and an empty bed.

Enjoy your G-Tech. They are cool. Let us know your "before and after" readings. You can also save charts by downloading the data to your computer and then post the charts and dyno data as *jpg files.

Re: gtech pro help

Anyone running a Gtech with a 4x2 CC? Trying to figure out what weight I should enter. Thanks.
