Thinking About Leveling Rearend Questions?

Has anyone done this yet? I need Pics. I thought about dropping the rearend 2" to level my truck off. I am riding on 22" rims I am looking for a better look. Any suggestions?

I looked into it, the only way I see that you can drop the rear 2" is a custom set of leafs. The biggest drop you can get out of shackles is about 1", there's clearance issues. Maybe you could contact Deaver and ask them to custom make some drop leafs for you for around $400. Otherwise get the 2/4" drop kit from Street Beat.

Naw man, its looks nasty when you got a huge gap rollin big wheels. Got my 24's on, everyone loves the front and always let me know the gap of the rear is way to big.

Attached a pic, you can't really see the gap, but you get the idea.

NEW INFO:

You can modify F-150 shackles to allow for a 1.5" drop. If you can settle for a .75" shackle from made for the Titans. More info here: 2" rear drop shackles installed on '06 LE

Re: Thinking About Leveling Rearend Questions?

I used the same shackles in the above mentioned post. It takes some time b/c they are a different size, but it's worth it in the end.
