aem brute force or afe stage II cold air intake?

Ive been looking around and these two seem to give you the most power out of all the intakes, just wondering if anyone had any idea which i should go for.

Re: aem brute force or afe stage II cold air intake?

I left my aFe 2 put together on the filter nose for 6 weeks while my titan was down and I noticed blue oil on the ground where I put it. enough to need a hand towel to wipe up. not sure if that means it'll be bad for the engine or not but it's definetly there. I think the AEM dryflow is oil free considering it's dry lol. other that that I like the aFe. insulating wrap would be nice too.

Go with the AEM. Worked wonders for me....

And NO oil!

Re: aem brute force or afe stage II cold air intake?

Any other opinions on this? I am leaning towards these two myself. So far it looks like I may go w/ AFE. As far as the oiled filter thing I have been running oiled filters for years in almost every car I have owned and never had a MAF problem. Even if the filters were loaded with oil (which they shouldn't be and usually aren't from a manufacturer).

Either one is a good choice. I myself went AEM but took a long time trying to decide. I heard both pro and con with all filters so I just say what the heck.

Re: aem brute force or afe stage II cold air intake?

I know Volant has supposedly cured the problems now with the Generation 3 but there have just been way to many issues for me to consider Volant. There is still a GB running at clubtitan for the AFE for like $236.

Re: aem brute force or afe stage II cold air intake?

I've tried a couple of the brands and never was satisfied until I rocked the BRUTEFORCE by AEM. I dig the grey color and DRY filter.
