Holy mother of turnip greens. They get that thing where you guys can afford it and there's gonna be some Hemi owners in tears. That's quite impressive to say the least.
The Hemi's have a $5000 Supercharger option(Aftermarket of course) that's supposed to put close to 500rwhp, but then you run the risk of your engine exploding if you don't upgrade everything else accordingly.
This Turbo is a much more realistic option I'd say.
Good stuff!
Ya the Titanic has a bullet proof bottom end . Big Rods compression is not way way high so it would take nicely to turbo. Probably can run 10PSI or so on Pump gas should get you close to 500whp and way more TQ in the mid then a supercharger. Can't wait then we can all tow our 8000LB boats at 120MPH

Amen to that Chris! Any more info on that project would great Chris. Randy would there be a intercooler set up available for those who dont want to go the methanol route?
My buddy who is the sales manager for Turbonetics has confirmed that the turbo kit for the Titan is on the drawing board.. I told him he can have my truck for as long as he would like So I will keep bugging him. Honestly the more interest there is in the project the quicker it will get done. You know how it works
Cool Chris! I like more options.
As far as methanol availability, I remember from reading a Dodge forum that CarQuest sells it. They have chainstores across the US. Does anyone know if this is true?
338hp and 415tq, at 5psi of boost!! That is pretty nice.
And he has no other mods, exhaust specifically. Once he gets exhaust and the issue with the MAF worked out, look out!! That's probably 350hp, easily without increasing the boost. I'm stoked!!!
I'm not savy on turbo's but I'm guessing with 15psi of boost, the HP will be OVER 400-close to 425, maybe...Anyone have an idea?
I wonder what the thing will run in the 1/4 with all the bugs worked out and the boost pushed up? My concern is the speed limiter-I'm sure it'll get close to 114. Anyone have an idea on that?

Good thing I waited to turn up the boost untill I got my Cipher scanner in. Cause the fastory timing to too high to go any further. at 3500 at 5psi the timing is 51deg and it progress down with rpm untill it hits 39deg at 5000. So now I'm going to order a piggy back controller to adjust the timing and bypass the speed limiter. But even though the timing is high I have still had no knock. I've made 340HP@5000 and 443torque@4000 so far with 5-6psi boost. Anyone who may be seriously interested in buying this kit please email me to let me know.

Ok guy's
I've got this turbo kit figured up. I will be offering a single turbo kit for the Titan that will fit 2 and 4wdr. There will be a entry level kit at first with an upgrade kit being offer later. The entry level kit will be a 5-6psi kit that will produce roughly 340rwhp and 410ft#torque (maybe more, as I'm sill testing the power level of this kit). Later I will offer a upgraded kit that will make more boost and at least 400+rwhp hopefully 450+. This upgrade will include a fuel controller with timing control, higher volume fuel system, and a nice sheetmetal intake manifold that will push the horsepower curve on into the higher rpm's.
The price for the entry level kit will be $3500
The upgraded kit will probably be around $5500 (this will be later in the year)
Dollar for dollar these kits will not be beat. These kit may not be for everyone due to the use of methanol. But for the Hard-core Titan Performance Nut that should pose no problem. Methanol is not that hard to find in most places. Any I have no intensions to build a non-methanol kit any time soon. I feel that the methanol has too many adavantages not to use it. I'm ordering the stuff to build the first kit now. I'm looking to have some ready to sell but the end of March. As soon as I get the finalized kit fab'ed up I will post pictures. I may get a chance to post some pics of the prototype kit on my truck tomorrow.
I appriciate you guy's following me on this adventure.
WELL I woulda been interested but methanol isnt even an option for me...theres no way Im gonna go freakin 10 hours away to get some methanol...lol...so again I guess Ill have to wait...this was also at a perfect price range where I could consider especially compared to the other 7K but oh well...guess me and others like me will have to wait...
congratulations on developing your supercharger, just a few questions. I thought this was going to be comparable to a Stillen supercharger? Your making 80 less RWHP than Stillen (at the same boost pressure). also, your price for the stage 2 turbo is very near Stillens supercharger kit...and again, you still haven't reached their power output yet. This is not so much directed at you Randy, as it is at some of the people on the forum that have been saying that Stillen is overpriced, and not realistic. I'm just pointing out these facts because obviously, you get what you pay for, if you want 40 HP more than your intake and exhaust have given you and want to pay 3500 then have fun, but a guy spending an extra couple thousand will go flying right past you...I know some people will think that I'm bashing Randy's kit, that is not at all what I'm trying to do here, I'm simply trying to point out that Stillen is still the best option, and the pricing is not that bad.
wow, you don't know the difference between a supercharger and a turbocharger and you work for Stillen????
And you're posting as a Stillen employee on Titantalk.com, the internets #1 forum for the most incredible light duty pickup truck ever built.
"hey guys, check out the balls on this guy!!"

That sounds very interesting. Do you think that a turbo would be better than a supercharger? I have read that they are easier on the engine and also have less parasitic loss.
I still can't get the vids to play and I have an updated player....also did I miss something, or are there no pics of this system posted yet?

Sounds like Bashing to me. If you want to resond to people that say you kit is too expensive then get off my post and get on theres. I'm just offering them another option. I have seen no feedback on the performance of your kit yet. I've seen your dyno sheets only and no track results yet. My entry level kit is a low cost way to get pretty good performance. I don't think going from 15.32 in the quarter to 13.6 is too bad. Expecially since my truck has the giant factory 18inch tires. I bet you probably dyno test on a DynoJet dyno which shows higher than my Mustang dyno anyway. The only thing that allows your $6500 kit to perform better than my entry kit is that you deleted the factory intake. And I will offer the option of a fabed intake in my entry kit that will dominate your HP results. I've already made 440ft#torque with my entry kit. Beside I was being very conservitive on the HP of the upgraded kit. I have not started on it yet, but bet my real expectations of that kit are well into the 500rwhp range if the trans can handle that. I have not siad anything negative about your kit. But if you want to run head to head with me on who's kit is the baddest then bring it. I have nothing to loose. So go ahead and open your can of worms. My kit WILL make more power than your guaranteed
Here's some pictures I just went out and took of the turbo setup. Keep in mind that this is the prototype kit. Then offered kit will have some upgrades. It will be all stainless steel. And it will be located alittle different to work with 4wdr trucks too. And the filter location will probably be different.
looks good. If you made a twin turbo setup is there room to mount custom exhaust manifolds with a turbo at one end of each one? Can't wait to see what you come up with next.

This sounds interesting. Be sure and make a video of this drag race. Has a date been set yet?
