Nice link, thanks for posting it. Its nice to see someone putting a turbo on a Titan. The big question will be how soon will the bugs be worked out and how much will he charge for a system. So far one heck of an effort.

you got it baseball! I'm keeping a close eye on that thread. Possibility of a turbo for our Titan was the main reason I haven't bought an intake or exhaust yet. Keeping my fingers x'd on his final results.
The turbo is mounted under the drivers seat. It has a Y-pipe from the cat's to the turbo. As soon as I get it back on the lift I will take some pictures.
Seems like a strange spot to mount a turbo, so far away from the engine and AFTER the cats?!?! By this point, the pressure (used to drive the turbo) has been greatly reduced, and temperature has decreased, causing the pressure to further decrease.
I'm happy to see that someone finally put some squeeze in a VK56 engine. I knew sooner or later someone would do it. I'd really like to see what a twin turbo would do. The VK56 has a stout bottom end, nice rods, etc. John Banks-are you listening?
banks won't touch the titan more than exhaust. He only does diesel motors, and the one gas application he does is a chevy 350 twin turbo CRATE motor...not one vehicle specific application...wait for the turbo-diesel titan and he'll probably be all over it...
OC, You are probably right about Banks not taking much interest in the VK56. My Banks reference was kind of tongue in cheek. When it comes to turbo, Banks antics seem to be the media's flavor of the month. True, they threw together a real loud Titan cat-back to make a few bucks. And man, would I love to have one of those 1100 h/p pump gas Chevy small blocks. It looks like their bread-n-butter is getting ponies from Dodge/Cummins mills. Yeah, Yeah, they have parts for Powerstroke and D-Max. BFD. But they ain't the only turbo game in town. My eternal optimism can't help but think we may have the small block that Chevy won't build. DOHC, 4 valves, 6 bolt mains. There has to be some players eyeballing our engine of choice. HooHa!.. I'm typing with one hand...
