rear sway bars and lifted trucks...

Alrite guys, I've decided to lift the truck. I'm going with the CST 8 inch...But I also tow and I want to make sure that a rear sway bar will work. I looked into the Stillen bar and they told me that they actually have extended length links depending on the height of the truck. one link for stock height, one link for 6 inch suspension lift and another link for an 8 inch suspension lift. I also don't like how Hellwig does an around the frame mount which will no doubt be prone to possible slipping or movement. and with the stillen bar I drill a hole through the frame and run a grade 8 bolt through a pretty beefy bracket, I like this option a lot more, seems much more rigid and sturdy. What do you guys think?

Re: rear sway bars and lifted trucks...

I think hte sway bar is a nice option. But you will need differetn rear shocks with that kit (that will make a big improvement right there) and the CST 2wd kit actually makes the front wider. If cornering is your cup-o-tea, changing the front coilover is a muct as the stock spring is way too soft to prevent body roll, as well as making the rear spring more linear.
