AEM Brute Force...Oiled or NOT??

Hope someone can answer this. I put my AEM Intake on, and all is well and good. But I was under the hood the other day, checking fluids and what not. And I realized that my Air intake felt a little dry. Was I supposed to oil the AEM intake before I put it on or was it pre-oiled?? And how can I tell if I should I oil it?? I know that this could be bad if I dont get it done soon.

If it is the gray one it doesn't need oiled, if it is red it does need oil.

I agree but it should feel too oily either. you bought this new? if it's the red oiled then it's preoiled.

I bought it brand spankin new. It is the grey one, and it feels as though it has no oil on it at all.

That's a dry flow, don't oil it.
