Re: Glowin need exhaust help (custom glasspack exhaust)

if your goin header back why not just do dual pipes instead of that single in dual out glass pack.

also what bodykit is that you expect to have on your truck by summer?

Re: Glowin need exhaust help (custom glasspack exhaust)

I second Timba24's suggestion that you might as well go True duals and use 2 glasspacks.

Have you considered the possibility of a rusty bottom? I was going to go with the same setup as Gr8titan but because the jackwipes at Toucan industries did'nt have their stuff together I had to go with Magnaflow Magnapacks in the 2.5in stainless and magnaflow DTM tips.

Read Gr8titan's exhaust theory thingy and it may enlighten you a bit or at least make you think. Worked for me.

Do it right and you'll only have to do it once.

Re: Glowin need exhaust help (custom glasspack exhaust)

No drone? From glasspacks?

IMO, glasspacks have a terrible sound on the Titan. Raspy as hell with no definition in the exhaust tone. Odds are that they will rust out within a year, give you splitting headaches and sound like a ragged out Ol' Bronco.

Here's what I think you should do to get a lowd-azz manifold back on the cheap:

1. Shop on Ebay for two(2) 2.5" Magnaflows. The smaller the better case wise.
2. Have a local muffler shop run 2.5" pipes with an H-pipe as close to the manifolds as possible(H rather than X to give more of a snarl. Hey, anything but glasspacks)
3. Location of tips depends on both your aesthetic preferrence and your wallet.

Enjoy.
