Caution about products like Tornado and Turbonator

Popular mechanics proves that the Tornado actually kills your power by 10%. They also list a few other gimicks that offer big gains 4 a low price

Check it out......http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...tml?page=2&c=y

They blew that one apart. I remember reading this article or one like it a while back. Good Find!! I don't know how they can get away with selling snake oil and fraudulant claims.

What are you talking about. These things are awsome. I've reached Mach Speeds with these things installed. There is another thread about these things, it's pretty funny. Check it out.

My goal was to see how many times I can say "these things".

Really,

Your caution should read:

Caution: Will cause extreme HP increases. Should be installed with full roll cage and racing seats. Add Stickers and blinky window squirters for up to 50 more hp!!!

Re: Caution about products like Tornado and Turboanator

Those things expose media endorsements for what they are...Just media celebrities that are actors and paid tongues. If some joker has a show on the Saturday Spike Powerwhonk, or the high-Speed network's(sic) programming's super parts segment, it is a paid endorsement. Same as most crap in print media. Hot Rad, Car+Drover, Sooper Chevy, Trukkin, all answer to advertising sales depts. Media is all the same whether it is cars or politics. Writers write. Editors edit. Advertizers do ads, then publishers put it all together. Not in that order.

Great find!

Most people know those are crap, but not everyone. My grandfather was duped by a clever sales person. He paid $500 for one of those!!

Here's the kicker: It may also void your warranty!
