I'm really leaning toward getting this intake because of the dry filter technology. Those of you with the AEM dry filter, how do you like it? How often does it need cleaning? Did it affect your gas mileage?
I like the AEM, good low to mid range increase. Im however using it in conjunction with a Banks exhaust.
Where is the best price on the AEM with teh dryflow?

LE Canteen Crew, 4X4, BT, OR to which I added: SS Brake Lines, Advanced Folding K-Cover ,SS Lund deflector, Black Prism DunderDan grill (I hope it's coming soon), 4" Prerunner Greg Performance Lift, The first Zoomers SS exhaust ever shipped, Volant Gen III CAI, and Chick's Hulk engine cover, custom A-pillar with 1in guages (coming soon).
As Money Allows: Nismo Headers, Dynatech 2.25" Powercats (Damn Missouri and your air quality) Osirus, Trutrac, Stillen (sway bar, big brakes, diff cover), and PrerunnerTraction Bars.
I got mine from hopupracing.com for $255 shipped, it was the lowest price I found at that time. I believed a few place is matching that price if not a little lower. As for cleaning it, I've only had it on for about 6K - 7K miles, AEM recomend 50K miles/30 months (25K/15 months for off road). I will probably do it sooner than the 50K miles recomended. http://trucks.aempower.com/faq.asp?fid=2&sid=&tid=1

I've been enjoying the heck outta mine. Haven't cleaned it yet. Price should be between $220-250. And if you haven't already, get a new exhaust setup. They work in conjunction. Banks, Magnaflow and Flowmaster are all good. Not sure about others. My Magnaflow is great.
