Question Active Tuning

Ok, installed my Active Tuning. I did notice a change in shifting right off the bat.

One thing, during the install the bolt for the last one ( tranny ) did not fit. Also, my dumbass tightined the bolt were the exhaust ground is to hard and snapped the head right off. I had to call my buddy who was a mechanic and went ahead and attached it to the bolt were the heat sheild was above the cats? Is that ok ? I couldn't get the bolt out since it is stuck.

Also, my damn clock disapered since I did this. Anyone else come across that?

Thanks

Re: Active Tuning

Hey P- is your clock still out? I haven't installed this yet, can you take a pic of where you attached the finally bolt to your heat shield just incase I run into the same problem.

Anyone else run into this problem too?

Clock is still out.. just don't over tighten. My buddy talked alot of sh!t because of how hard I tightened it. I can take a pic later but you should not have a problem.

Re: Active Tuning

pics... I am going to try to get the broken bolt out and place the stuff were it should be. I also read on here by searching that the clock issue was to remove negative cable for 10 mins and that fixed it.

First is new spot I had to use because I snapped the bolt were it was supposed to be.

This is the snapped bolt.

Were I grounded the exhaust

Were I had to make the hole bigger

I did notice the quick start up and the changing between gears is very noticable. I have not checked for MPG which I really ain't concerned about cuz this def is not going to change that.
